GNOME Receives Great Donation

There should be an image here!Accessibility on any desktop environment is a big deal. And for folks using desktops with desktop environments such as GNOME, any edge it can get is a boon for all involved.

Accessibility on the GNOME desktop plays a lot into Ubuntu’s options for the future in making sure those with various disabilities are able to enjoy their Linux distro, but this sort of thing obviously takes money.

Mozilla kicked down a cool $10,000 while the F123-Mais Diferenças partnership contributed $5,000 to the effort. As most people know, Mozilla is not hurting badly at all and has plenty of cash to spare. So seeing them contribute like this really helps me to see their value in the open source community beyond merely their browser efforts.
