Everyone said it would never happen. Yet with the changing of the Ubuntu guard, the reality of some folks wanting proprietary choices in their software is beginning to set in.
According to the above survey link, Canonical is exploring the idea of trying to get more proprietary software support for the Ubuntu Linux distro.
Most people thus far seem mixed with the idea. But after I voted myself, I felt like I could better understand why. It’s a big change; obviously most people will be a little unsure about it.
