News of Apple adding a new 3.33 Quad-Core option should not really come as much of a surprise considering that people have been asking for it ongoing. As expected, the upgrade to the processor also features a serious upgrade in price. How much? $1200 big ones.
But those folks out there needing to do things with Apple products, while also needing the kind of hardware required to get the job done, this might not be so bad after all.
There is something to be said for not having to see Apple say that they don’t have the option available. Besides, the lesser default option of 2.66 Quad-Core is still very much available by default for those who prefer. In the end, it’s about what you are comfortable in paying, really.
