Ron Artest of the L.A. Lakers is candid. He seems to say whatever is on his mind and there is little self-editing answers to questions. For example:
“… “I used to drink Hennessy … at halftime,” Artest says in the interview, which hits newsstands this week. “I (kept it) in my locker. I’d just walk to the liquor store (near the stadium) and get it.””
The NBA and the L.A. Lakers might think that such self disclosures falls into the ‘too-much-information’ (TMI) category. However, for the basketball beat writers, access to Ron Artest means never lacking for interesting copy.
