AIG is being rescued by the federal government and taxpayer dollars. And some AIG executives are on a partridge hunt in the English countryside:
“Four top AIG executives flipped U.S. taxpayers the bird by spending $86,000 on a partridge hunt at an English country manor as the feds gave their struggling firm billions to stay afloat.”
The executives were “relaxing”. – It is unbelievably cavalier. If it is not criminal, it should be. This is illustrative of the corporate attitude that allowed this economic crisis fester. There should be consequences – severely unpleasant consequences for such executives.
