Looks like the rumors turned out to be true once again. On October 14, Apple will be holding another conference, with this one centered around the MacBook line. What does this mean? NEW MACBOOKS! FINALLY!
At this point that’s all we officially know. Now what about what we’re not suppose to know yet. For starters, Apple should be unveiling their new BRICK procedure. Basically all this is a special way to make the case for the MacBook out of one solid piece, instead of having to screw everything together. This new material is expected to be cheaper and lighter, while at the same time stronger and more durable.
Apple is also expected to release a new line of MacBooks that are more in tune with today’s market. Instead of top of the line models, the market has shifted to more affordable models with lower prices. Apple is expected to follow this trend by releasing a MacBook for about $800, a first for Apple, whose MacBooks have always been over $1000.
One of the many complaints about Apple is how expensive their hardware is. Hopefully this cheaper model will be just the thing they need to end that argument.
