Today we bid a sad adieu to George Carlin, who passed away last night. George had heart problems and checked into the hospital with chest pains.
I consider this gentleman to be the godfather of comedy. He lost nothing with age either; his latest stuff is every bit as good as his earlier routines, if not better. He had setbacks, including the loss of a son and some chemical dalliances but he came back twice as strong.
On the bright side, George found out how accurate he was in his atheism.
