The lawsuit certainly generates headlines for the exorbitant amount demanded:

The issue is serious. The matter of security and privacy of digital information is an ongoing issue. However, to have a lawsuit filed for such an amount makes the incident appear frivolous. It is unfortunate that, at first glance, Ms Campbell’s lawsuit appears farcical.
