Firefox Update: The Good News and The Bad News

If you are a Firefox user, you will have noticed that there is a recent update. However, this update is not without its problems, as Tony Austin from iTWire noted:

“For the past few years, I have found the Firefox browser update process to work pretty much flawlessly. But not with today’s automatic update to version 2.0.0.8 (20 October 2007). Not a single one of the installed extensions that I have come to rely on are working, and I’m very annoyed. And it seems that I’m not the only one affected. As Firefox users know, there is the option to update at a later date. However, to update later puts one at a security risk. So, at the moment, Firefox users have a bit of a ‘Hobson’s choice’…
