I am officially writing off Fry’s electronics. I used to shop there quite a bit. A couple of years ago I decided to write them off, and never visit them again. Well yesterday, I went back to Fry’s and my mind was refreshed why I said that I will write them off. I ended up purchasing some computer equipment. The equipment would not work as both the packaging and sales staff stated. Yes, they do have cheap prices. This is because they do not have quality staff. They pay low wages, which only attracts unqualified staff. They sell unknown manufacturer items that end up having to be returned, as they are buggy, receive little to no support, or just don’t work. When you first walk into Fry’s, you will always notice a long line near the front door where people are standing in line to return something. Fry’s takes back this junk, puts a return sticker on it, and then back it goes on the sales floor. There may be parts missing, customers breaking something on it, or just flat out does not work. It always seems like whenever I have bought something, it requires a minimum of three trips due to the items having to be returned or exchanged. I am officially writing Fry’s off FOREVER!
