I am inclined to agree here on all points. I too, am a fierce Firefox fan. And I also feel that IE & is waaaaay better at managing RSS at this point.
Firefox is still my web browser of choice, but having just upgraded to Internet Explorer 7 beta 3, it needs to be said: IE7 handles displaying web site feeds a LOT better than Firefox by default.
Instead of showing the raw XML of a feed, IE7 formats the feed into a very readable web page with a friendly description and clickable headlines. But even cooler, on the right hand side IE7 displays all the categories each feed item is filed under and lets you filter the items by those categories.
Update: A more fair comparison would be IE7 versus the Firefox 2.0 beta, which are closer in the way they handle feeds. However, even Fx 2.0 does NOT have IE7′s neat filter by category…. Source: LifeHacker
