You know, I’d have to say that starting a design business is definitely better than hanging out at the mall for the summer or worse!

Like many of his friends, 14-year-old Martin Ozoria already has a job this summer, but instead of mowing lawns or scooping ice cream, he’ll be running CyberCorps , a Web design business he started late last year with three other teenagers from Salem.

“I’ve learned that maybe customers won’t like the way you see things, so you have to change it a little bit so they think it’s all right,” Ozoria said. “If you don’t do it their way, there’s no way, so you’ve got to compromise until you get the right thing.”

CyberCorps, which is rounded out by senior Robert Monegro , junior Kathryn Maristany , and freshmen Miguel Cruz , was launched through Salem CyberSpace , a nonprofit computer learning center where the entrepreneurs developed their expertise in its CyberYouth program last summer .
