Well, China now has a video search engine of their very own thanks to the folks that brought us Blinkx.tv. Not completely sure what Google’s reaction will be just yet, but chances are they will have a response of some sort.
The first professional video search engine in Chinese, Cblinkx.tv, launched its initial public test Wednesday, making it also the first search engine with .tv as domain name in China.
Cblinkx.tv is produced by Autonomy, the UK system software company that introduced English version Blinkx.tv to the world.
The company said that by keying in a word or sentence, Internet users can get a list of related clips of TV or broadcast news, audio and video files on its website. [Read the rest]
