A commercial-free music video recorded entirely with cell phones was shot in Seattle for the Australian band The Presidents of the United States. Recording the music video for their hit single, “Some Postman,” the entire production was recorded with cell phones.
“We came up with this idea 18 months ago but couldn’t find a band that would embrace the risk and vision. PUSA loved the concept and were brave enough to undertake the risk. This was a fantastic experience for all of us. The band was fabulous,” said music video producer Nick Wolff.
Shooting over the course of just one day in Seattle, the production company, Film Headquarters, used several Sony video cell phones, and then transferred the footage to a Mac using the phones’ on-board Bluetooth.
