I posted a note about Dell’s laptop adapter recall back on October 8th, shortly after I filled out the request for a new adapter myself. However, about six weeks later, I have yet to actually receive my new adapter.
Before I go pestering Dell and/or blasting them on some public site (ahem), has anyone else entered the recall and actually received their new adapter?
There are no promises of delivery timeframes in their correspondence, so I’m prepared for the possibility that they’re swamped with orders, especially given the popularity of their laptop lines. If other folks are seeing the same delays, and it’s okay with the respondents, I’ll turn that over to Dell in my correspondence with them as well.
