Beef Up Your Browsers By Cade Metz – Sixty-three million Americans use the Internet for academic research, and nearly as many use it for work-related research, says a study by the Pew Internet & American Life Project. Among experienced computer users, according to the UCLA Center for Communication Policy, the Internet now ranks as more important than television, radio, magazines, newspapers, and even books as an information source. Too bad the browsers they use to gather their information are such weak research tools.
