Executives from MySpace officially announced the creation of MySpace Music, a service that will be jointly operated by News Corp.’s MySpace and, at least initially, three out of the four top record labels.

jPod, the television show based on the novel by Douglas Coupland, was canceled; all the fans like me know this . If you do not know this already, see what Kam Fong wrote.

The question is, ‘who is their advertiser?’ and what kind of server.

Joost could end up the host of this, but i have my doubts, since the advertisements have been reduced to near none on jooost these day. wouldn’t be much profit in that means of distro. Rev3 could really use something like this and the attention that comes with it.

With a show like jPod you really couldn’t expect anything less than a “Hey we do not need mainstream media anymore, there is plenty money in the internet now” kind of mind set.

We shall see what comes of this.
