The question is, ‘who is their advertiser?’ and what kind of server.

Joost could end up the host of this, but i have my doubts, since the advertisements have been reduced to near none on jooost these day. wouldn’t be much profit in that means of distro. Rev3 could really use something like this and the attention that comes with it.

With a show like jPod you really couldn’t expect anything less than a “Hey we do not need mainstream media anymore, there is plenty money in the internet now” kind of mind set.

We shall see what comes of this.

why in the blue hell have the radio stations not thought to do this yet ?

I mean if you want to be known, BE KNOWN ASSHAT.

I would pretty much blop out a huge list of stations on my myspace and facebook profiles so my buds could listen to what i am listing to here in Houston and enjoy it like I do.

I created a page to fill up with games . The idea was so I could have something else going to keep my brain from from slouching while I am at work waiting on the server to get fixed,or blue print to print or just stuff to do on days when I bring my lunch.

Well one of the ladies at my job walked up while the game was open (but I wasn’t playing at that exact time). She asked me what it was and I explained that it was one of like 5 games I uploaded to a hidden section on my own website. After like 3 days, another one of the ladies from my job walks up and says “hey is that all the games you have on your site?”.. I didn’t know how to answer. I mean if I said “nah I plan to upload a buttload and waste my time on the clock playing stupid games all day. So I paused for a second and said ” well I was thinking of putting up new stuff every now and again, but not a whole bunch of stuff” she said to me ” can you get like a bingo or a tic-tac-toe game?” I busted out laughing. I mean it, really. Doctor Pepper shot out of my nose. Well I started uploading a game here and there and different people came up telling me what was lame and what they want. I was like “dude get your own frickin’ server” but then I realized that I now have a hobby when I am home… making this stuff work.

After a bunch of complaints I removed a lot of the games and just kept the ones everyone liked.

Well if you have a request or know of a site that I can get more games from, help me out — the natives are getting restless. lol

After a bit of time, squinting to watch the other channel and not enjoying the whole Web 2.0 junk and widget integration, I snapped this together.

So now I can see the stream in a larger area. Plus with the addition of using Chatzilla I can see the room a bit better and have better control of what I see and post.

Now if you people would give Chris a nudge and get his page builders to duplicate the page on Chris’s site and maybe put up an advertisement or two so he keeps generating cash as he expected we can get what we want and what he wants.

For well over a year on WordPress I was doing a top podcast pick. Since I have ported to here I will be doing the same here, I hope you have similar interests as I do and enjoy the media I link you to. I will mention the ones I listened to that did not make it to the top list, easily understood that I did not link them. I typically listen to about 30 shows a week while at work.This is for just the audio versions of podcasts, I only listen when i am working.
The tech guy will probably always make the list since it is two or so hours of entertainment, I am pretty much gonna enjoy something i do not have to change… you know?

If Chris Pirillo would run an audio show I would listen to each one, unless I was there for the live recording he does while on live.pirillo.com he has a chatroom and lets us watch and chime in for the video version in a lower screen chat preview. great job on letting the community in, well worth the click about 7ish California time.
