MSN Uses AdSense?

Proofreading the TruXter Tech News post, I looked at the advertisement on the page because it caught my eye.

I noticed something fishy.

I thought Google was the sworn enemy of Microsoft. But as I see here it pays Google to advertise its phone sales area.

Many companies do this. Just because one division of a company is a competitor to a division of another company, doesn’t mean the company, as a whole, is a competitor.

Apple for instance advertises Microsoft Office, and they even have their own iWork suite they develop and sell. If you go to Apple’s gaming page they even recommend a Microsoft mouse over their mighty mouse.

The conflict of interest in this case is how company claims defeat by admitting
the other team has a better advertisement company and reaches more people
a simple ” well what ever sells the dang thing” Can not apply in this case.
To me it is a clear sign of what might be the demise of two giants.
