If you were ever interested in making money online, you have come across, in one way or another, Google AdSence. Google AdSense has to be the easiest way to make money online, but it’s not going to make you rich unless you work for it, just like the way you’d normally make money. AdSense allows you to place ads on your website, and pays you every time someone clicks on a link. You get about…oh I don’t know…$0.15 a click. As testaments will show, this is highly profitable, but the only problem is, you need alot of people clicking on those links. This requires you to have a lot of traffic to your site, which is where the work comes in. You need to do several things to ensure that there is adequate traffic. First you need to advertise, advertise, advertise. This way you can get people to actually go to your site. Second, you need to have interesting and captivating content. That way people are attracted to your site and will continue coming back. Third you need to get people to click on your ads. To do this, you must have ads were people can see them, and not worry about the ratio of ads vs. content, though you might want to be sure that there is more content then anything else. So far I’ve been a Adsense client for several months and I have 67 (and counting) page impressions, or views, on my sites. I have earned $1.44. (As of 9:50pm est April 5, 2008) I’ve seemed to not make alot of money because I really haven’t been promoting my site and I also do not have the most captivating content. So if you’re looking to find a fast and easy way to make money online, Adsense isn’t it. But if you’re willing to put in some effort, AdSense if right for you.
