Hiding your flash drive in plain sight?

How often do you think this will get thrown out?
Basically this product is a 2 GB USB flash drive that is disguised as a severed USB cable. Neat idea but why would anyone need such a thing?
First of all, if the data was important the possibility that the “cable” would just get tossed because of the way it looks is not something I am willing to take a chance on.
Second, why would you want to answer the question of “Why do you have a broken cable plugged into your computer?” over and over again?
But I am sure this product will sell as it is a great gimmick.
Until the next time,

You need it for the same reason you need a humping dog USB drive. It’s fun.

It would be FAR smarter IMHO to make it appear (and maybe function) as a USB extender cable (1-3meters). Far fewer questions. It would not be thrown away. It could also serve other good uses then like extending a USB mouse or an antenna for a net link. Or a sneaky spy-type program maybe?

Well, well… I do have a 4GB flash drive, USB, so small that once inserted into USB you can see only 1/3 inch being outside, just to grip and pull out.
Its better hiding than yours? My gues is yes, except that tis white color could make a spot…
