I hate Christmas. I hate snow. I hate presents.

I really do. There used to be a time when it actually meant something to me, seeing old friends or relatives. I remember that feeling when I would wake up and notice the beautiful snow outside on a Christmas morning. I remember having that feeling that there just might be something magical about all of it.

But now, it just seems empty. All i want is to slip into a dark corner and wish it was simple again. What if everyone stopped for a moment and cared a little more. Laughed a little. Weren’t so serious.

 Maybe your Christmas will be a jolly old time, but mine is empty.
