Something In The Air…Smells Like…Stupidity!

Sometimes I read things and wonder exactly what has happened to the people who wrote them, or those being written about. It’s as though one truly has entered the Twilight Zone.

That has happened this morning when I read a small blurb on slashdot explaining that agent provocateur and sometimes idiot savant Mark Cuban has put forth the idea that a good way to put the screws to Google is for someone to pay the top 1000 sites to leave the Google index, and move to Bing.

First, why would anyone want to do this (other than Microsoft), and second, who put a the burr under Cuban’s saddle?

The full idiocy is located here, but after you read it, you might still not get the entire point. It seems as though something might be affecting the writer, and I wonder how much the possible impetus was ($$) to put this into print.
