Tuniq Releases Another Monster!
The developer of the first, and some would say best, of the gargantuan CPU coolers, Tuniq, has released a new design, taking the need for a larger case to new heights.
Yes, many people find that, to use the original Tuniq Tower, it was necessary to get another case, if the side panel was to be used. So this could be called the cooler that launched a thousand new case designs.
Previously seen at Computex, Tuniq’s uber-high-end CPU cooler, the Tower 120 Extreme is finally closing in as it is expected to go on sale in August. Seen below, the upcoming cooler measures 131 (L) x 112.31 (W) x 150.7 (H) mm, has three 8mm and two 6mm copper heatpipes, nickle-plated wave-shaped fins for increased air-contact area, and a 120mm magnetic fluid dynamic bearing fan that works at 1000 to 2000 RPM and has a maximum sound output of 20 dBA.
The Tower 120 Extreme is compatible with AMD Socket AM2/AM3+ and Intel LGA 775/1366 processors, and comes bundled with a tube of TX-3 thermal compound, and a fan controller.

This is no longer the largest cooler extant, but should still get the job done no matter what.
