Canadians Serious About Keeping ‘W’ Out of Their Country

Though President Obama thinks we should not push for a trial of George W. Bush and company for war crimes, it seems that our neighbor to the north has a growing vocal minority who wish him either kept out of the country or allowed in, then prosecuted.
The web site AfterDowningStreet.org has the entire claim, and a full list of all parties contacted to make certain their wishes are known.
‘W’ is expected to travel to Canada on the 29th of this month, and it will be interesting to see if the trip takes place, what is reported in the U.S. news, and what is reported on news networks outside the United States. (I’ll be watching BBC News to see what happens…)
President Obama has not really put his feelings into words fully, but I would think that what he suspects is that the underlings will be forced to fall on their swords, and those closest to the top will never be touched.
It always tends to go that way, doesn’t it?

Quote of the day:
It is inaccurate to say that I hate everything. I am strongly in favor of common sense, common honesty, and common decency. This makes me forever ineligible for public office. - H. L. Mencken
