Free Anti-Virus and Anti-Malware Solution with 1 Year License for 3 PCs
I have to say, the guy(s) at My Digital Life are continuously on the case with deals. It wasn’t so long ago that they had a free 6 month license for Avira Antivirus, and I almost recommended it here, but the paid version showed a bad reaction on my machine, and made it very sluggish – not as poor a performance a some others that start with ‘N’, and end with ‘orton’, but not really a good response. The free version has its annoyances, but it leaves the slowdown to the pro version.
Now the Digital Life guys have a 1 year License for 3 PCs (nice because a lot of people have more than 1 in their houses these days) from iolo. Not exactly the name you know, but it has received favorable reviews, and their utility package actually works – unlike some others, this time remaining nameless (you get it, I’m sure).
Give it a shot, I’m going to jump in, although I won’t be using the firewall, that is Comodo and will stay that way, until something better comes out for free, or they screw it up. [Actually, as I think about it, I'd simply revert to an older revision of Comodo, as that would take care of it for a while, until Comodo got it back to right.] It took a long time to get me to change from Sygate Personal Firewall, and I expect I’ll be using Comodo for quite some time.
That being said, thanks to MyDigitalLife and iolo, for their kindness.

Cool. Something new to try. Something better than ClamWin at least.
Unfortunately, I see that it did not find the problem I had with my wife’s computer here. It probably does now.

I got Cyberdefender antivirus software, and liked the free scanner and spyware remover that I bought the upgrade and it really saved my ass when I was near a deadline and it blocked a bunch of virus attacks I got from some websites. I highly recommend it.
