Ars Technica has another article detailing the inept and insane behavior of the Federal Communications Commission, and its complete lack of control over the DTV transition. It is speaking now of the complete and total inability to cope with the meltdown that approaches with the (supposed) transition to digital broadcasting.

Not only does the article state that the FCC is going to be out of its depth on this, it indicates that much of the problem with the changeover is one of simple communication – something you might think the entity could effectively do, given its name.

Another lowspot in the article is how the consumer electronics industry is vehemently opposed to the transition being postponed, no doubt wanting to take unfair advantage of those not completely in the know.

This shows another facet of the total lack of regard for the public by every part of the current administration.
