All the large manufacturers are bringing out some ‘goodies’ before CES, as they know that there are a lot of jaded reporters and buyers on the way, so a little candy will get things moving.

The notebook will also feature a quad-core processor and have an 8 GB maximum RAM capability. Other things available in this year’s line from Lenovo are such things as Dolby Surround Sound and nVidia GFX graphics. A full complement of ports can be had, with Lenovo offering Firewire as well as USB ports in multiples.
Some of the models are using extremely strong, lightweight materials, like carbon fiber, to keep the weight down.
I’m thinking these units will go from the desk at work to the bed, or desk, in the hotel room, to possibly the table at a restaurant. Units like this will not be used without AC power nearby, so people on airplanes won’t have to worry about that second screen encroaching on their space in the next seat.

It’s the conjoined twin myslexia of the laptop world! Why didn’t they just make like a giant DS Lite? You could type on the touchscreen.
