At Service Pack 2 and Holding

As each day passes, more and more problems arise from Service Pack 3 for Windows XP Today’s problem is one which will no doubt heap more suffering upon another project from the boys of Redmond.
Reported on itwire, the service pack install makes connection from the XP machine to a Windows Home Server impossible. The good news is that the problem might have been identified. It seems that the Active X Control for Terminal Services (weren’t Active X controls being rewritten, or replaced in favor of something that worked?) is disabled when the SP3 is installed. No connection then is possible - none!
Hopefully the propeller heads will get their full supply of Jolt and get right on this…you know, the same way they got right on Vista, or Vista Service Pack 1, or the problems delivered with Windows Home Server.
I wonder what the next fixes will be called … I have it! Service Pack 1 for Service Pack 3 for Windows XP - now that’s saying something!

Hello,
Historically speaking, “adjusted” service packs (for lack of a better term) have had a letter added after the number, such as Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6a or Windows XP Service Pack 1a.

Aryeh, I know, I guess my tongue was pressed too firmly in my cheek.
