PC Magazine has pretty good coverage of CES on its website, and so I continue to check in every several hours. (It’s not like being there, but I was too busy to go this year - I’ll have to arrange the schedule better next year!)
One of the first things to see on the site is that soon, everyone will know what Bill Gates thinks we should know for this next year - but it is occurring now, and no results are in on that.
The first shots of the much ballyhooed Google phone, apparently made by Chinese manufacturer Wistron, are there - and it looks decent, but not nearly as glitzy as the iPhone. I suppose that form should always follow function, so that might be a good thing.
Not at all bad looking. I think that the keys might give some of us larger fingered guys a bit of a problem, but I guess it could be adjusted to.
If you look closely, you see an ‘O’ key to the left of SPACE. It’s not a zero. It’s a dedicated Opera key! That almost makes me want it alone!
Nice size. Not too small, not too bulky. I hope the battery life is good. And a 2MP camera to boot!
