Does IE6 Crash After Security Upgrades Tell Anything?

Those who wish to function as apologists for Microsoft will take offense to this, but it does seem that Microsoft should have known exactly how any security updates to Windows XP should function

Is Microsoft not the owner of the code? Does the company make security changes with the use of crystal ball or Ouija board?

www.mysticalblaze.com_ouijainv the core of Windows repair system?

While pondering those thoughts, and whether or not to upgrade (?) from IE 6 to IE7, here is the knowledge base article reference to help with IE 6 crashes.

KB article         (just in  -  there seems to be an executable to make the fixes   for those who suffer from registry edit fears - here )

Does MS want to force the move to IE 7? Nah, that couldn’t possibly be it. Or could it? The logical mind might think that since MS has access to the inner workings of the XP operating system each time a user connects to Windows Update, the patch could have been applied seamlessly so that Joe Average would never see IE 6 crashing on his system.
