Requested Features for Windows 7 Leaks

  • No Related Post

Over at Ars Technica, a list of the requested features for the upcoming version of Windows has been brought to light.

Some of the features listed include a session restore function for Internet Explorer, as the competitors already have one, a tab function for the Explorer, which would allow the file manager to do some of what almost any other file manager does, and a progress bar for the hibernation of Windows, this one was obviously coming from a Vista user.

Amazingly, no one asked for the first thing I would ask for - an operating system that works on current hardware (at the time of release) without any major problems.

Nah, that would be too much for the new Microsoft to handle.

Wait, wait. They have to request that a hibernation progress bar be added back -in-? I have that in Windows XP, and it’s fairly accurate, too!
