California Wants to Parent Your Children

Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger has decided that the state should be the one to determine what children can or can’t purchase - again.
One defeat of the law, struck down as unconstitutional by the courts, was not enough. The challenge was made in federal court in Northern California.
Originally the law was passed in October of 2005, but struck down in December of that year.
“We protect our children from buying inappropriate movies and ought to be able to protect them from buying inappropriate video games as well,” Schwarzenegger argued. “The law I signed ensures that parents have the chance to determine which video games are appropriate for their children.”
Once again, the Governor shows he is not really a Republican, but a moderate who chooses to pick the very worst parts of liberalism for his platform.
It should be a parental decision what ‘children’ are given money for, and proper early education will nullify any ideas that what they are experiencing in any game has any direct correlation to real life.
