Wishing to use the popularity of, and the country’s fascination with, celebrities to propel a new site, NewsGroper is the new web site where many blogs appear as though written by those who are famous [or infamous].

The entries range from Oprah, being spoofed as wanting to have the eponymous brand cover the entire planet, to Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, discussing his time on vacation at Kennebunkport with the Bush family.

The site is new, and it remains to be seen how long it will survive, or possibly increase in popularity.

Of note, special kudos to the entity known as Flava Flav, for his article “I believe the retards are the future”.

Lots of good natured [and not so good natured] fun while it lasts. It only takes one stick-in-the-mud to kill the good times.
