Microsoft Releases Vista Upgrade Advisor 2.0

Apparently not satisfied with the number of converts to the Vista camp, Microsoft has just made another revision of the Vista migration tool available for download.
Unlike the first release of the Advisor, this one is designed to scan an entire network, making note of the viability of upgrading each machine on the network. This will certainly be a time saving device for those who wish to try, but the site states that the requirements have been moved upward, which is not only correct, it is more honest in the usability assessment.
This will not garner more converts, but perhaps those who do wish to make the jump will not be so sorely disappointed when the conversion is completed.
The company must be lauded, however, because this gentle guidance works much more effectively than sledgehammer tactics and warnings of impending doom to those who continue with the folly of running XP.
