Toward More World Music

This concert, Live Earth, is a wonderful showcase for the planet in crisis, what can be done to conserve energy, and how each individual can help.

It is also showing why the tight playlisting of the common FM station, and the few times they actually play music on MTV, is something we should be railing against continually.

Live Earth is allowing a great band called Abingdon Boys School to be heard outside their native Japan. Also shown is how much of our time might be getting wasted by not listening to things outside our small section of the world.

Internet radio is one of the ways to listen to things outside the normal. Supporting it is very necessary.
