After 66 years of battling foes, and purveying the greatness of the American way of life, Captain America will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in the latest issue of ‘Fallen Son’ by Marvel Comics.

In a storyline said to mirror some of the changes happening to the United States today, the Captain has been embroiled in a situation involving personal freedoms and the rights of the government regarding privacy.

With no reprieve from the hands of the Grim Reaper in sight, we must say goodbye to a reigning symbol of American freedom, democracy, and most of all, fair play.

R.I.P. Captain.
