I applied to write a topic at About.com. If anyone has good contacts there I would appreciate a good word put in for me. It’s not the first topical network I have written for but it seems to be the toughest to get into. Which is a good thing for the writers, site owners and the readers. Why just take anyone? The site does pay writers too. Like most they have struggled and had periods when they didn’t pay. They seem to be on top of things now and I’d like to get in, this time. I applied for another topic many years ago and was accepted but then they changed their mind about starting the topic.

Anyway, wish me luck this time. I won’t say which topic it is in here, until I get it. I just don’t need the competition for it now. :)
