I wanted to blog for the women like myself, those who get told how pretty they would be if only… When I’m feeling good hearing that makes me annoyed. When I’m not feeling so good hearing that makes me feel awful and hopeless. So, I want to make this blog for other women who have a lot going for them, who are interested and keeping involved in their own life and who sometimes feel they don’t fit in. Yes, that is a bit of a pun on words.

If you feel as I do let me know and share some of that for anyone else who finds my message in a bottle on the Internet. Among all the sites and networks for women there are few bold enough (yes it is bold to confess to being BBW/ fat online where no one can see you) to be fat.

I plan to be fat with content too. I don’t plan to make this a diet blog or a blog which reminds you how much better your life and your appearance would be if only… Let’s not deal in the if onlys. Let’s deal in the reality of how things are right now. Let’s celebrate and be glad for what we are and what we have and what we are doing. Let’s make goals and share experiences and ideas and support each other as we grow in all sorts of ways: spiritually, emotionally, financially, and every way. Being fat or big or large or plus sized or plump or obese or chubby does not make us ugly or lazy or jolly. It just makes us Creative Fat Grrls.

How is that for a first post?
