Funny thing about the writing game … some days you can’t wait to sit down and knock out a piece. But other days you stare at a blank page for what seems like hours (even though it might only be minutes). When this happens to me, I pull a trick out of my sleeve that I learned back in a college creative writing class …
When you can’t start writing, just start writing.
That’s it. Just let your fingers hit the keyboard without giving it any thought.
It’s similar to an athlete getting ready for a game by beginning their warm-up routine with stretches. You need to get your muscles moving … not just your fingers, but your brain muscles … and by tapping into a somewhat unconcious stream of thought, you’re priming the pump.

Where Do You Go For Inspiration? I love Inspirational books… I just finished one called “A Climb to the TOP” An inspirational journey to the Ultimate you. It was given to me from a friend. I believe it can be ordered on Amazon. The author (Troy Fontana). I’ve read lots more inspirational books but I’m sure you don’t want me to post them all. Anyways this was the latest one and it inspired me and I’ve taken steps to towards making better commitments on my fitness goals.
