Tomorrow's Electric Car

When folks think of electric cars, the thoughts are often flights of fancy. We see a George Jetson future, rather than one very much like what we have today. At the 2009 Detroit Auto Show, the future was clearly electric … and the concept cars weren’t pie-in-the-sky. I had the opportunity to learn about the upcoming Ford electric cars firsthand and with the camera running.

    Let me see…

“Nancy: … It’s the most fuel efficient 4-door sedan in the market that you can get in North America. …”

Well, not the 3rd world, but not the 1st!
Go to Europe for more and better…

I use Google calendar with my iPad and iPhone but I have a lot of events and there’s a big lag when I open the app. I may be wrong but it feels like the data’s getting downloaded from Google and it’s not being stored on my device. I use MobileMe for my contacts and don’t get that kind of lag at all.

I’d love to find a way to import my Google calendar data into MobileMe but haven’t found a way to do it. The only solutions involve using Mac software and I’m on a PC.

I’m guessing Apple will solve this issue when they release idisk (or whatever it’s called) but if I could get it solved sooner than later that would be even better.
