Cool Concept Cars

If you’ve never attended a big car show, you’ve probably never experienced the joy and wonder of seeing a concept car for the first time with your own eyes. A blurry little JPEG on a website doesn’t do justice to the designers’ work. There’s nothing quite like watching a one-of-a-kind marvel of modern design rotating gracefully before you, the lights glinting and dancing off its finely sculpted lines.

I spent the better part of last week in the Motor City, covering the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). One of my primary missions was to capture the best Detroit Auto Show concept cars on video, with the aim to reproduce that from-the-floor experience, without the hustle and bustle of the swarming crowds.
