Who says that money doesn’t grow on trees? Washington has cut the the trees down, printed up a whole bunch of new money … and they’re about to send it out to the taxpayers, in the hopes of jump starting the economy.
So what are you planning to do with your economic stimulus check?
I’m not going to use mine to pay bills. I’m not going to sock it away for a rainy day. I’m not going to gamble or drink it away.
I’m going to use it as a down payment on a home turbine. Well that’s the plan, at least.

My total credit card debt is about $900.00. Yes, that is less than $1000.00. Not very patriotic I guess but the way I like it. Providing that the check does come, I will use it to knock down that $900.00, add a little to it and zero out the credit cards. That will add to my disposable income but instead of spending that on “stuff”, I will add that to my mortgage payment and reduce the term of my mortgage about 10 years. This sounds like a good use of the stimulus check, again, providing that it arrives. It could always be pulled for any reason at all should Washington change its collective mind.

My economic stimulus check will be used to purchase another semi-automatic 1911 style .45 pistol.

I doubt we’ll get one. If we *do* get one we’re gonna pay off down our debt with it. Credit cards and mortgage are both targets!
