Six Cents for a Digital Print?

I finally got around to revising my online digital print price comparison chart last month. The shocker? The lowest price for a 4×6 digital photo print is now only six cents.
4×6 print price levels remained steady for the most part, but a number of photo print providers dropped the prices on their 5×7 and 8×10 prints, including CVS, Ritz Pix, and Walgreens.
Consolidation was the name of the game, with two firms dropping out since the start of the year. ClubPhoto closed its doors, as did PhotoSite (a United Online company). Sony ImageStation is slated to close in early 2008. Photosite has steered its customers towards Snapfish, while Sony ImageStation is pointing its customers at Shutterfly.
