Dodge Sprinter Van: 10 Passengers + 25 MPG

Need to haul around a bunch of folks and a whole lot of gear? Want to do it comfortably and use the minimum amount of fuel? Given thought to using biodiesel? It’s widely accepted that a well engineered diesel engine can produce 30% better fuel mileage than a comparable gasoline engine. Diesel power is a natural for big people-movers of the small passenger van variety. Unfortunately, there aren’t a whole bunch of choices in this category… for Americans, that is. But there’s one big, beautiful (in an eye of the beholder) option, the jumbo-sized Sprinter van.

You might not believe who actually builds the beast…

While the Dodge Sprinter van is assembled in America, the components come from across the pond. Swap out a handful of pieces of trim (which are available over the Internet, of course) and the Sprinter’s true heritage is brought to light
