Hold Music Contest!

“Not wild about what you hear when you’re in that tele-communicated purgatory we call ‘on hold’? Neither are we and we want you to change it.” says Magic Hat. My fave Vermont-based brewery is holding a “Solid Gold on Hold” contest with a $1,000 grand prize shopping spree at Small Dog Electronics. Death to mundane muzak. Break out the #9, Circus Boy, and Blind Faith, brothers and sisters … there’s on hold music that’s begging to be written!

“Get your wildest, weirdest, woderfulest audio vision digitalized and send it in because it could be the next thing you and everybody else hears when they ring up Magic Hat.”

You must be a US resident, living in the states and 21 years or older to enter the Solid Gold On Hold contest. (There’s an odd rule about Hawaii and California … go figure … those bros and wahines might be out of luck.)

The winning hold music maestro gets the shopping spree. Twenty-five runner ups get a t-shirt. There are no steak knives.

I’ve been working on a six of Roxy Rolles this week, But I’m really looking forward to slamming down my share of Hocus Pocus once summer rolls back around. Oh, I sure do miss that Humble Patience red … I could never get enough of that.

All you need is three chords …

DIGG IT!

i found that my iOS5 backup didnt work on my iPhone when i tried to restore to iOS4. luckily i had a backup saved from when i was about to try out iOS5. iTunes would complain that the backup was made from a newer version of iOS

google IOS beta 5 without developer

this beta is still a little rough for use on your iphone- some apps don’t work (they are not optimized for new OS)
