Cheap Enlargements

Now that Labor Day has come and gone, there’s a good chance that your digital camera’s crammed full of summer vacation photos and your budget’s just about busted. If you’re a faithful reader, you know where to find the cheapest photo printing service. But what you might not know is where those cheap photos are actually printed. Hint: we’re not in Kansas and that photo lab isn’t in your backyard.

A while back, Chuck Eglinton sent out a bunch of his photos over the wire to have some cheap digital prints made. Local shops, even the big box chain stores, couldn’t touch the prices for 8 x 10 enlargements.

But the order confirmation email carried a puzzling return address.

The email wasn’t sent from a .com or .net domain.

It wasn’t even sent from a .ca address.

You’ve got to check out the whole story.

The order confirmation – and the photos – were shipped from halfway around the world.
