Expired Domains, Redux
All is well in the continuing saga of my recently expired domains. I successfully snatched my treasured domain names from the jaws of death with Enom’s “Club Drop” service. A mere thirty bucks saved each domain. I’ll chalk it up to experience. I may have gained a few gray hairs, but thankfully I didn’t lose any … or any (more) sleep. All-in-all, it was a tense 12 hours or so …
Call it serendipity. At least I don’t have to order that Just For Men Hair Color. The domains are safely sleeping in my stable.
If I hadn’t checked my normal domain registration service that night, I would have never caught it. The domains would have slipped out the back door and I’d have been left standing there at the altar, with nothing to sacrifice to get them back.
There’s little doubt in my mind that a domain speculator would have grabbed these two sooner, rather than later.
Now all that having been said … I’m no closer to having a valid concept for the domains than I was before I almost lost them. They’re great names, but still no concept … but at least I have another story for what will eventually become a storied domain (alas, not this one).
Wanna know how it all started?
