Online Tax Filing

What’s that? You haven’t filed your 2005 state and federal income taxes yet? Don’t sweat the stamps (or the long line at the post office)! With just a handful of days left until the April 15th deadline, online tax filing is hot, hot, hot. If you’ve already started working on your tax return you still have plenty of time to wrap things up. And if you haven’t started your return yet, online tax filing can save precious hours…
The option to file taxes online is built into Intuit’s TurboTax, the world’s most popular tax software. It takes just a bunch of clicks (and a thirty dollar or so payment) for TurboTax to electronically file your tax return information with the IRS and your state tax department. You can choose to have the payment deducted from your refund (should you be so lucky as to receive one) or place it on a credit card. (PayPal is not an option.)
Want your tax refund in your hands ASAP? Check into the direct deposit option… (but watch out for the fees).
