Free Video Conferencing for the Holidays

It’s always tough to get everyone in the same place at the same time. It’s often tougher when that time is the holidays. Video conferencing to the rescue! If you can’t get the gang together in the real world, you can use the virtual world to share that holiday spirit. And who better than Microsoft to video conference … especially when they’re offering a 14-day free demo of Live Meeting.

I just signed up for a trial of Microsoft’s video conferencing service and I’m itching to try it out.

The introductory (not to mention instantaneous) email states that, “You can schedule as many meetings as you want with up to 10 simultaneous participants in this trial.”

Simultaneous participants is such an awful term for friends and family, now isn’t it?

Nevertheless, free video conferencing is a swell holiday gift. Ten video conference nodes is quite generous.

Be a dear, pass the potatoes and click to the next PowerPoint slide, now would you?

I’m raising a glass of egg nog to Bill. Maybe he’s not such a bad guy, after all! :)

Interesting, found your 3 years old post while searching for information about free video conferencing. I am looking to compile lots of info about conferencing services on one website since there is a lot of scattered info on the net.

Thanks for good info in your other posts,

Best regards.
